More and more of my last summers adventure in Toronto, this time I come up here with things I found on the streets in the Distillery District (the love sign) and more in the city center when I was taking walks.
The love sign: I didn't even realize until I went up close that those are locks, that people put there, as a symbol of their forever love for each other. From time to time, when the sign gets too crowded, somebody actually comes and cleares the sign up, so it has room for new ones. I have seen this idea also in some european countries, but mostly only on bridges.
The sign is iconic for the district and if you go there, you can also find multiple other installations around the idea of love.
