"...the carousel never stops turning..."

This trip was all about me. Sounds really narcissistic, but you'll get why I said it that way...  My birth month is November and when it came to the 1st, I realized that I want to do something. Not wait around for my birthday to come and do what I usually do....eat cake, receive gifts and blow candles in front of my friends and family. I wanted to do something special and by special, I mean be in a different place. In a different city, with different people. And the special thing that I thought about was to take a few days off and have a little walk and also visit Vienna with my mom. Not the first time that we went there, but it is still amazing! Every time you go, you just find a way to lose yourself in the city. It's like a maze honestly. A beautiful and very, very cold maze. Street food everywhere you look, shops and really cheerful people. I realized that, every time I go, I see and I discover something new, more beautiful, more impressive than the previous trip. And that honestly amazes me... how a city can be special and more and more beautiful each time you go... We had such a great tie! We got lost trying to figure out our way around the subway stations, which can scare you a little, but we figured it out. We walked down memory lane in Stephansplatz and Volkstheater and went back to a cute little light shop that we used to always walk by a few years ago. Because we went previous times already, we kinda let it loose with the visiting of the museums and art galleries part. Instead we had coffee breaks at cute little coffee places in town. We ate traditional, did a little shopping, walked around, remembered the magic and came back home. I needed a break from the world, for once, and my birthday was the perfect excuse.
