Brown toned colours represent the autumn, and the black and the blue bring the winter. So a mash up of those two are really appropriate with this weather. It doesn't seen like the winter wants to come, and at the same time the autumn doesn't want to leave. Cold weather is, personally, my favourite, because you can bring out the jumpers and the sweatshirts, and you are comfortable and casual, at the same time.
